The eagerly anticipated Roast of Pearl Thusi appears to be the gift that keeps on giving.

This comes as the organisers of the event have recently announced that three more celebrities will be joining the already star-studded line-up that will be bringing their A-game to the Lyric Theatre this Thursday.

In a surprising turn of events multi-award singer Donald, television presenter Phat Joe as well as Amapiano sensation Zee Nxumalo will all be licking their lips to spit some fire.

With many of the panellists having come a long way with Pearl, there is a great chance that those in attendance will have up close and personal insights into some of her longest-kept secrets – this is at least what Phat Joe says.

In a statement he said that the limelight of the entertainment industry is not for the faint of heart, claiming that celebrities usually have a love-hate relationship with their fans.

However, when it comes to his role as a panellist, he promises to go full-out on roasting his beloved friend.

“I’m sorry, Pearl I know too much and I’m not holding anything back. I hope we can still be friends,” he said.

Meanwhile, musicians Donald and Zee Nxumalo vowed that none of their fellow panellists will be safe when they take the podium.

“I’m not going to hold anything back when it comes to sending up my fellow entertainment personalities. A lot of them have inflated egos and definitely need to be brought down a peg or two,” said Donald.
