Eastern Cape born and breed singer, songwriter and dancer, Zintle Kwaaiman bagged herself a Trace Africa Slot.

Zintle started doing music in 2016 where she released her first song, however the song that put her on was Mbizeni. After that, she continued working her way to where she is now.

On the 19th October she released a music video of her hit song Imithandazo ft Rethabile Khumalo. The music video now features on Trace Africa and  the Channel O Hit list. She says that it is also yet to appear on MTV Base.

The hardworking artist tells BONA that she wrote the song seeking for answered prayers, “I was inspired by life in general, I wanted to reach my goals and I mainly felt I was not where I am suppose to be in life and just challenges”, She also mentions that the biggest inspiration behind this hit song is her late Mother. The musician currently finished her birthday tour and says it was a great experience, “I got to enjoy life” she said.

Zintle says everything makes sense after going through her spiritual journey and understanding who she is, “I am more intertwined with my ancestors and I know they are always with me”. She also mentions that the only challenge she has had is not being able to be around people, “ Going home after those hugs and kisses becomes hard as all the energies you meet and you go home with them which ends up making you feel depressed”. Yet this does not stop her from showing love to her supporters.

She also shares words of encouragement to upcoming artists saying they should not hold back, “Do you boo, focus on yourself and don’t compare your life to anyone’s.”

Zintle tells BONA that she is currently working on a project but she would like for it to be a surprise.
