Makhadzi reacts to on-stage surprise from singer Alick Macheso

by Bongiwe Mati

Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, famously known as Makhadzi, recently shared a surprise stage moment in the form of a visit from singer Alick Macheso, who she featured in a song called Shampopo/Mapara on her new album, Mbofholowa.

Makhadzi’s album boasts 13 banging tracks all worthy of main stream radio play with frequently air played songs such as Video, Siyayenza, and Makhwapheni to name a few.

Taking to her social media, Khadzi shared a video of the surprise visit from Alick that occurred while she was on stage in Zimbabwe, performing their hit song Shampopo. In the video, the Metro FM Best Female award winner can be seen jumping up and down from shock after seeing Alick, immediately kneeling down as a way of showing respect to the singer. The pair later continued the rest of the song performance together.

Sharing the video with her social media followers, Makhadzi captioned her post:

“BABA Alick Macheso surprised me on stage. It was my first time performing our song together with Mr Brown. Kadoma was fire ?. Thanks for the love and support Zimbabwe ?? was nice ?.”
