’Scotts akaphumi ekuthethi,’ Internet after he calls new amapiano song trash

by Silindokuhle Booi

Controversial amapiano artist Scotts Maphuma has teased an unreleased song titled Flight Ya Slahla, which some believe could be a potential Summer hit.

However, given the current state of his relationship with his fans and the public, it’s uncertain whether it will receive the same level of enthusiasm as his previous tracks.

The song’s teaser was shared by amapiano blog page @PianoConnect, who suggested it would bring in the Summer vibes. Despite this, social media users have been quick to express their skepticism, with many believing that Scotts Maphuma’s recent behavior has tarnished his reputation.

Scotts Maphuma’s reputation took a hit after he displayed diva-like behavior towards his supporters. He told his fans that he doesn’t like taking pictures between events because he has to rush to a new venue, which many found unacceptable. The situation worsened when he implied that nobody contributed to his success, further alienating his fanbase.

As a result, Scotts Maphuma’s new song has received negative reviews, with many social media users criticizing him for his attitude and perceived arrogance. Despite this, it remains to be seen how his fans and the general public will respond to “Flight Ya Slahla” once it’s officially released.

The controversy surrounding Scotts Maphuma’s behavior has led to a mixed perception of his music. While some still enjoy his tracks, others have been turned off by his actions. Only time will tell if “Flight Ya Slahla” will be able to overcome the negative sentiment surrounding the artist and become a hit.
