Trai and Grace Byers celebrate their 4th anniversary

One of our fave couples Trai and Grace Byers are celebrating their 4th wedding anniversary. Grace took to social media to share a beautiful message to mark to occasion and shared a snap from their special day.

In the lengthy post, Grace shared in part; “If we tried to make our marriage like anyone else’s, we’d be done for. Even on our wedding day, we broke all of the rules and decorated our ceremony together, barefoot. You got a sunburn. I fought the wind. It was perfect.”

She continued; “Today, exactly four years later, we’re still as revolutionary as ever – and I adore all parts of unorthodox you and you adore all parts of sensitive me.”

I married a maverick. He married a rebel. If we tried to make our marriage like anyone else’s, we’d be done for. Even on our wedding day, we broke all of the rules and decorated our ceremony together, barefoot. You got a sunburn. I fought the wind. It was perfect. Today, exactly four years later, we’re still as revolutionary as ever – and I adore all parts of unorthodox you and you adore all parts of sensitive me. As we celebrate, tonight I’m making you one of your favorites: your mama’s border fries. (Yep, I got the Picante sauce and that icy, cold beer.) And, for dessert, I made that lemon cake you love. (You know that thing is GOODT). You took care of the entertainment and bought a bomb thriller with the coziest blanket. I know you: you’re gonna act like you’re completely unbothered by my gasping, shrieking and talking while letting me tuck my ice cold feet under your thighs. You’re going to hold me tight and kiss me a couple of times, just to remind me that you’re there. You’re also gonna wash the dishes after, cuz that’s. how. you. do. And, I know, I know. All of this isn’t usually what some people might consider a typical anniversary date, but isn’t that just like us? Doing it our way? Happy 4th Anniversary, you Maverick. There’s no one else I’d rather break rules with. Here’s to making this thing ours, forever.? ?:@rebeccadavidsonphotography
