Our June cover star and actress Thuso Mbedu slayed the International Emmy Award’s red carpet last night. The rising star was nominated for the Best Performance by an Actress category for her role in Mzansi Magic’s Isithunzi where she plays the lead character, Winnie. Thuso attended the awards in a stunning Gert-Johan Coetzee gown.

Though Thuso didn’t win, her positive attitude and talent will surely see her soar.

Thank you to EVERYONE for the love and support and well wishes. You don’t know how much it has meant. It’s been a great and exciting journey. I’m excited for what tomorrow holds.
