Pearl Modiadie lives it up in Bali

Pearl Moadiadie is on a dreamy vacation in Bali that’s making us very sad to be back at work. We especially love the fact that she’s showing us that you can travel alone and still have a fantastic time.

I was exhausted AF here. I was on a 10h25 flight from Johannesburg to Singapore and another 02h45 connecting flight from Singapore to Denpasar. Boy was I thrilled to have arrived and you can guess what I did as soon as I checked in . But the streets of Bali had awaited my arrival ??

Checked in at the hotel and decided to step out for dinner. ? Could’ve walked to the restaurant by the beach (about 10 minutes from my hotel) but I’m paranoid about being robbed. I’m told it’s very safe here and I do feel safe, but a woman walking late at night on her first night in a foreign country? ? Got a few raised eyebrows when I mentioned I was here alone after being asked ‘ Madam, is it you and a partner?’ Lol! The lady proceeded to tell me I was the only one who came to the cruise alone ?! Someone on my comments section ( I’m sorry I forgot your handle, please tag yourself so I can thank you properly) suggested that I go to the Ayana Resort Rock Bar in Jimbaran/Badung, Bali. You said I’d thank you later, here it is… you were spot on! ? ( …and the pics on the internet dragged my jaw to the floor) P.S : It looks incredible! One of the most breathtaking places I’ve seen! Google it ?. This was around 11pm and the dark areas are all water. ?? ( I sadly missed the sunset, but the half hour taxi ride from my hotel to this resort was more than worth it!) #InCharge #aPearlinBali #Bali I❤Bali??
