On The Red Carpet At The MTV MAMA’S

by Ayanda Ngcobo

Celebs stepped out in all their glory for the MTV MAMA’s this past weekend. From international artists to local stars, the red carpet was full of the who’s who in showbiz. Here’s a quick run down of who stunned and who disappointed.
DJ ZinhleDJ Zinhle looked stunning in this fitted suit. The navy and sequinned gold worked perfectly together and the high-waisted pants looked super chic. She pulled off the look successfully from head to toe!

Bonang MathebaBonang didn’t blow us away in this Gert Johan Coetzee dress. There was just too much fabric and it did nothing for her body. Her outfits are also starting to look the same of late, hopefully she wows us in something new and different next time *fingers crossed*

DonaldWe’re getting a little tired of seeing the monochrome look on Donald. The only word that comes to mind is boring!

Khuli ChanaKhuli Chana worked that suit in all the right ways. It was well tailored, the colour was on trend and the pop of red in the pocket square gave it just that extra bit of flavour. Two thumbs up to Khuli!

Thando TabetheWe’re a bit disappointed by the choice of outfit as we have seen Thando Thabethe in so much better. Loved the bob weave and pink lip though.

NomzamoNomzamo looked all kinds of winter fabulous in a brocade inspired dress. The cut was very flattering on her. We also love that she decided to have her hair in a bun and create some drama with a red lip.

Sizwe DhlomoSizwe Dhlomo looked like he was part of the welcoming team for the international artists. That traditional gear over his suit was completely unnecessary and an epic fail.

Khloe KardashianKhloe Kardashian could’ve made a bit more effort. She just looked like she gathered a piece of material around her waist. Nothing amazing compared to the outfits we’ve seen her in on international red carpets.

MiguelMiguel was super stylish and on trend. He looked like he just stepped out of a video shoot. He could’ve done without the bomber jacket but we’ll forgive him considering how cold it is at the moment.

Big NuzBig Nuz was all over the place in terms of their outfit co-ordination.  Most of their clothing was just too tight. A bit more thought was definitely necessary when they were planning their outfits.
