Actress and philanthropist Nomzamo Mbatha has been announced as the
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Agency (UNHCR) ‘s Global Goodwill Ambassador. In 2017, the star joined the organization as its High-Level Influencer, an agent of change in the lives and transformation of African refugees.

In a lengthy post shared on her social media, Nomzamo expressed her gratitude sharing in part: ” grateful to the High Commissioner, Filippo Grandi, for believing in my vision and desire to be a tool and instrument for this organisation.”
