Songtress Zandile Khumalo-Gumede has announced that she is divorcing her sister Kelly Khumalo.
In a statement Zandile stated the reasons she was announcing a separation from her sister, saying in part, “yes I love her dearly but I am going to love her from a distance for now cos she is a toxic person and her friends and my mother can attest to that…”

This follows a statement put out by Kelly Khumalo about what she called an attempt to use her name as part of her scam involving Zandile’s husband. In posting it she said, “With all due respect, Mhlo Gumede is my sisters husband And manager NOT my bookings manager nor part of my team,never was and never will be, so what ever dealings you may have with him Do NOT involve me.”

Kelly has also since responded to news of Zandile’s decision to divorce her, saying in part, “It is all well, I accept defeat, She wins in fact they both win. I wish them nothing but the best. This hurts more than I thought it would, but it is well.”
