Bonang Matheba for Revlon
Revlon is the brand that transformed nail enamel from functional product to a beauty and fashion accessory in 1932. The brand grew rapidly by adding perfumes and foundations, and was one of the first to advertise their products using celebrities. After extending their range by adding 18 new dark colours including Carob, Hazelnut, Bronze and Cinnamon, they were proud to announce Bonang Matheba as their first African brand ambassador. Bonang is a role model to a lot of young girls and it is not difficult to see why she is now the face of Revlon.

New York model, Jessica White, is one of Maybelline’s brand ambassadors. Jessica was called the model of her generation by Tyra Banks and was the perfect fit for a brand like Maybelline. Jessica, alongside Maybelline want to change the world’s perception of what beauty is as it’s something that begins from within.
Lupita Nyong’o for Maison Lancôme
Africa stood proud when 31-year-old actress, Lupita Nyong’o of Kenyan-Mexican origin won an Academy Award for “Best Supporting Actress” for the movie, 12 Years a Slave. Because of this achievement, Maison Lancôme announced Lupita Nyong’o as their brand ambassador.
