5 Reasons We Love Vusi Kunene

by Boitumelo Mmakou

He is one of South Africa’s legendary actors who became famous in the 90s with films like Running Wild, Friends, and the popular movie Cry, the Beloved Country. Despite his aged look and many years in the industry, Vusi has continuously reinvented himself and stays on top of his game – one of the reasons we love him so much!

LEADER OF THE GENTLEMAN’S CLUB

No matter the acting scene or role he will be playing, Vusi is always the gentleman, and acts with nobility. We love that in the midst of a criminally intended scenario, he is able to speak calmly, stay collected and make his presence silently known.

MAN OF PRIDE

Perhaps having a crush on someone with any amount of pride is not such a good idea, but we couldn’t help ourselves. It is in fact his pride that makes us love him even more. Who wouldn’t like a guy with a dash of confidence?

SKILLED

There is one good reason the man has been in the industry since 1992 and that is his talent, passion and skills. He is a legend because he is one of the best male actors in the industry.

KING OF KINGS

He plays chief on Isibaya, and this makes us believe that he could be one in real life. We love that he has the power and ability to play a man of great strength and power.

WE NEVER KNOW WHAT’S COMING

One minute he is nailing his character on Isibaya, the next he is on Ayeye and playing a different role all together. We therefore never know what’s next. We look forward to seeing him play a lot more characters in future as he is always good at his acting.
