Charles Leclerc and Alexandra Saint Mleux say ‘I do’ in an intimate Monaco ceremony

Formula 1’s golden boy has officially crossed the finish line into married life.

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc revealed on Instagram that he married model Alexandra Saint Mleux on February 28 in a romantic civil ceremony in Monaco — the same glittering coastal principality he calls home.

And in true Monaco style, it was elegant, understated and impossibly scenic.

A ceremony by the sea

The couple shared glimpses of their special day through a joint Instagram post, giving fans a front-row seat to the emotional moment Leclerc slipped a wedding band onto Saint Mleux’s finger before sealing it with a kiss.

It wasn’t a grand, over-the-top celebrity spectacle. Instead, the ceremony was intimate, attended by close friends and family. Think soft ocean light, historic streets and the kind of quiet luxury Monaco is famous for.

After the official “I do,” the newlyweds were seen driving through a picturesque coastal road in a red vintage Ferrari convertible — a subtle nod to Leclerc’s racing roots. Ocean views, classic wheels and newlywed smiles made for the kind of scene you’d expect from a romantic film set on the Riviera.

“A day we’ll forever remember,” they captioned their post.

But this is only chapter one.

The couple revealed that a larger celebration — dubbed “part two” — is planned for 2027, where they intend to gather more friends and family for an extended wedding celebration.

A bride in lace, a groom in grey

Saint Mleux turned heads in a fitted, long-sleeved lace gown with an off-the-shoulder design. The dress featured intricate floral appliqué and textured lace throughout, striking a balance between timeless and modern.

She kept her accessories simple: a silver necklace, a sleek bun and soft, natural makeup that let the craftsmanship of the gown shine.

Leclerc, meanwhile, broke from the traditional black tuxedo. Instead, he chose a light grey suit that complemented his bride’s off-white dress — a subtle but stylish move that felt fresh without trying too hard.

Together, they looked effortlessly coordinated, a couple clearly comfortable in their own aesthetic.

From spotted to serious

Online reports first linked the pair in March 2023 when they were spotted together. Just two months later, Leclerc confirmed their relationship publicly at a gala event in France, putting an end to speculation.

Fans quickly warmed to the couple, drawn to their low-key public appearances and Saint Mleux’s supportive presence at races.

By November 2025, the romance had reached the next milestone: an engagement announcement that melted the internet — partly thanks to their dog, Leo.

In one of the shared photos, Leo wore a small black bow-tie collar with a gold bone-shaped tag engraved with the words: “DAD WANTS TO MARRY YOU.” The playful gesture, paired with images of the couple celebrating together, made the announcement feel personal rather than performative.

They captioned the engagement post simply: “Mr. & Mrs. Leclerc 💍❤️❤️❤️.”

Fans celebrate the fairytale

As news of the wedding spread, congratulatory messages poured in.

“Starting the year the best way possible,” one follower wrote.
“Stunning! Congrats,” added another.
“What a dreammmm, congratulations!!!” chimed in a third.

In the world of Formula 1 — where headlines often revolve around pole positions and podium finishes — moments like this offer a softer storyline. For Leclerc, who has grown up in the spotlight of international motorsport, this milestone feels grounded and deeply personal.

More than just a racing headline

Monaco has long been associated with glamour, fast cars and high-profile romances. Yet this wedding felt less about spectacle and more about sincerity.

Perhaps that’s why it resonated.

For fans who have watched Leclerc evolve from promising young driver to established F1 contender, this moment marks another kind of growth, not measured in championship points, but in life chapters.

And while the engines will roar again soon enough, for now, it’s safe to say: Charles Leclerc has won something far more enduring than a Grand Prix trophy.
