FACE

My best home remedy for unwanted pimples is bicarbonate of soda. I use water to make a paste, then dab it onto the ‘visitor’ (pimple)… Wake up in the morning and the pimple gone!  A make-up artist taught me this brilliant trick. It’s also great as a weekly scrub!

HAIR

I normally use castor oil (the one that obviously doesn’t have that terrible pungent scent) for a thick hairline. Massage it onto your hairline. It’s really great and does wonders.

For natural hair, braiding your hair into ‘Bantu knots’ helps retain the moisture and promotes hair growth. I have natural hair that’s quite thick, so I’m constantly researching on hair blogs about homemade remedies!
