How to get healthy skin overnight

by Bongiwe Tshiqi

The last thing you want to do after a busy day is another skincare routine. But, it definitely has its own benefits. It may be in your best interest to find a quick and easy way to do this without making it feel like a daily chore. A night-time skincare routine can give you clear and healthy skin instantly.

1. Cleanse your skin. Removing make-up at night is one of the best things you can do for yourself. It’s important to cleanse your skin to remove all the acne bacteria that can end up causing blemishes. Use cleansing wipes on days when you feel tired or need to save time.

2. Use a treatment once a week. Overnight masks are now popular. You don’t need to worry about taking the mask off after a few minutes; just slather it on your face and let it work while you sleep. If you don’t have an overnight mask, you can use a serum to give your skin extra nutrients from its active ingredients.

3. Finish off with a night cream or facial oil. Your skin repairs itself while you are sleeping; putting a night cream on a cleansed face helps your skin to get moisture while keeping it soft and radiant.

4. Get enough sleep. This is because a lack of sleep causes stress. This not only makes your skin look dull and tired, but can also aggravate things such as acne and eczema.
