Dare to go bare! The no make-up look

There is no art to achieving the “no make-up look”. But, with some skill and the right products, you can also nail this trend. The trick is to ensure that the look enhances your natural features and gives you a healthy glow.

Step 1

Even out your skin tone by applying a BB cream. Use a foundation brush or sponge to get a flawless finish. Mix your cream with a highlighter for an extra glow.

Step 2

Apply an oil-absorbing powder to prevent oily, shiny skin.

Step 3

Cream blushes in warm colours give the skin a natural, subtle flush, unlike the brighter pink colours that give more of a made-up look. Apply blush on your cheeks to get that rosy colour. This also adds a bit of colour to your face.

Step 4

Define your eyes. A brown eyeshadow enhances your eyes, giving you natural contours without looking like you even applied it. Choose a shade that is darker than your skin tone, and apply it into the crease and along the lower lashes. Add a bit of mascara to give your lashes a boost and to open your eyes up.

Step 5

Finish off with a nude lipgloss that matches your natural lip colour. If you want a bit of tint, go for a nude pink shade.
