In 2016 research by Stats SA indicated that the rate of marriages had decreased, while the rate of divorce increased by 5%.

But we’re not here to bore you with those figures and neither are some of our fave celebs who have been inspiration to couples for years.

Celebity couples like Connie and Shona Ferguson have built a thriving empire in the entertainment industry and still manage to keep the flame alive after being married for 16 years.
