Meet Nomcebo, a 19-year-old Human Resource Management student from Durban, and one of six winners of Dawn’s life-changing R100 000 prize.
Her biggest dream is to graduate and be successful in her career. “I am inspired by my mom. She is my biggest role model”, says Nomcebo. Because her mother could not afford her tuition, Nomcebo decided to enter the competition.
Now, Dawn has given her the opportunity to pay for her school and travelling fees. This will help her achieve her dreams of becoming a successful and independent woman. We catch up with her to find out how the R100 000 prize will change her life.
Q: WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?
A: I love being with my family – I enjoy our talks, our laughs and the time we spend just bonding with each other.
Q: HOW IS THIS PRIZE GOING TO IMPROVE YOUR LIFE FOR THE BETTER?
A: It’s hard to explain how this prize will change my life! I will be able to pay my tuition knowing my mother won’t have to stress about finances. That means the world to me. I’m currently studying towards a diploma, but would love to have a Degree in HRM.
Q: WHICH DAWN PRODUCT IS YOUR FAVOURITE?
My favourite product is the Dawn Cocoa Butter, because the glycerine lasts on my skin.

As part of her prize, Nomcebo will start studying towards her Human Resources qualification in 2016. She also received a beautiful make-over and a photo shoot.
