5 Celebs, 5 Summer Colours

by Keletso Modisakeng

The warm days are creeping in. Some of our favourite celebrities show us how to add colour to our beauty regimes to liven up our looks.

Your nail colour doesn’t have to be changed as regularly as your make-up, but that doesn’t mean you should neglect them. Azania’s pastel blue nails with art are a great look for spring. No matter the length of the nails, colour and art always win.

Dineo Ranaka

It’s no secret that colourful hair is a great trend. Dineo rocks a blunt bob with a dash of red. If a solid colour isn’t for you, add a few coloured highlights or just dye the tips of your hair.

Khanyi Mbau

It’s not a conventional way to add detail to your look, but it definitely works. Khanyi shows us how wearing coloured contact lenses can add a different dimension to your make-up. Always visit an optometrist to get the correct colours and prescription.

Minnie Dlamini

A bright lip colour is a great look because it also allows you to get away with a clean face. Dark shades are generally for winter, but a rich toned maroon or purple looks good with a lightly made up face.

DJ Zinhle

Eyeshadow is a great tool to add a dash of colour. You don’t have to cover the whole eye. As seen on DJ Zinhle, a little highlight on the inner corner is enough for any occasion.
