Time Out Market Winter Wine Finale

The Winter Wine Series comes to a stylish close at the V&A Waterfront. This final edition celebrates the timeless pairing of cheese and wine, with MCCs, rosés and bottles from estates like Hazendal, Van Hunks and Vondeling. Whether you’re a wine expert or just looking for a relaxing afternoon, the tastings and artisanal cheese boards make this a must-do.

SA Vs Argentina At The Galileo Open Air Cinema

Rugby fans can cheer on the Springboks as they face Argentina in the Rugby Championship, all while enjoying the open-air atmosphere of the Galileo LIVE screening. Expect the full South African vibe with lawn games, sizzling braai favourites, giveaways and loads of gees. Pack your picnic blanket and make it a day out for the whole family.

Radisson Red Winter Series With Craig Lucas

Craig Lucas headlines this month’s Radisson RED Winter Playlist with his alternative pop hits. The rooftop setting at the V&A offers stunning views and a stylish city vibe, with Sarah-Jane Thomas and DJ Garth B as supporting acts. Hosted by Chad Saaiman, it’s one of the city’s hottest live music nights.

Misty Cliffs Live At Café Roux

The Misty Cliffs trio — Nick Turner, Nick Catto and Matt Catto — bring their soulful, expressive music to Café Roux. Expect intricate guitar melodies, rhythmic bass lines and lyrics that reflect life’s beauty and turbulence. An intimate performance to close off the weekend in Noordhoek.

Cape Town Baroque Festival

This year’s theme, The Miniature and the Monumental, juxtaposes large-scale orchestral works with intimate chamber pieces. With performances by the Cape Town Baroque Orchestra, Lutesong Consort and international guests Erik Bosgraaf and Zefira Valova, the festival highlights the expressive brilliance of Telemann’s music.

Mendelssohn’s Elijah At City Hall

Two of South Africa’s biggest choirs unite for Mendelssohn’s Elijah, in what will be Richard Cock’s final oratorio as director. With soloists Andiswa Makana, Conroy Scott, Minette du Toit-Pearce and Lukhanyo Moyake, the performance promises to be both powerful and emotional.

Marc Lottering At The Baxter

Marc Lottering’s latest comedy special digs into family and origin stories with hilarious results. Already a sell-out in Joburg, the show has been hailed as one of his best. With over 20 one-man shows under his belt and a Comics Choice Hall of Fame induction, Lottering remains a South African comedy treasure.

Routes Of Sound At Spier

Groups of 30 rotate through cosy venues on Spier Wine Farm to experience intimate acoustic performances from artists like Giuliette Price, Ntokozo Zwane and Odwa Bongo. Each evening ends with a collective finale, with wine tasting included in the ticket.

Khayelitsha Book Festival

Celebrating the theme We Read, We Write: A Declaration, this festival places literature at the centre of community empowerment. Expect readings, discussions, performances and workshops that give voice to both established and emerging writers from Khayelitsha and beyond.

Cape Ballet Africa: Salt

This triple bill explores the symbolic and spiritual meanings of salt in human history. Choreographers Kirsten Isenberg, Mthuthuzeli November and Michelle Reid present ballets that are athletic, sleek and emotionally charged.

Muizenberg Literary Heritage Festival

Red Bull Unlocked

An amapiano, deep house, hip-hop and gqom extravaganza, Red Bull Unlocked transforms Makers Landing into a playground of music, food, hidden bars and dance. It’s one of the season’s biggest parties, celebrating the best of South Africa’s nightlife.

Youth Classical Concert At Artscape
