Prince Kaybee opens up about partial memory loss

by Silindokuhle Booi

Prince Kaybee, a renowned South African music producer and DJ, recently shared his struggles with partial memory loss on social media.

The incident that prompted him to speak out occurred when he landed at the airport and requested an Uber, only to realise later that he had actually driven to the airport and forgotten his car there. This embarrassing moment led him to acknowledge that his memory loss has become critical.

Prince Kaybee recounted how he left the airport in an Uber, feeling quite foolish when he remembered that his car was still parked at the airport.

He expressed his concerns about his partial memory loss, stating, “Left the airport in an Uber only to find out I actually forgot my car at the airport. My partial loss of memory has gotten to a critical stage, embarrassing.”

Prince Kaybee had surgery following his fifth motorbike accident in April 2024. Although the direct link between the accident and his current memory loss isn’t clear, the timing of these events might be worth exploring further.

The post garnered significant attention and reactions on social media, with some users offering words of encouragement and others poking fun at the situation.

One user jokingly commented, “You can’t even remember how to make a hit.”

Another one said: “Don’t take it lightly, chief. I’m going through that period.. It’s actually worrying. Almost burnt the house down recently.”

Despite the varied responses, Prince Kaybee’s openness about his struggles with memory loss has sparked a conversation about the importance of health and wellness.
