The clock is ticking, and Christmas Day is almost here, but, don’t let last-minute shopping stress take away your holiday cheer.

Whether you’re scrambling for the perfect gift or navigating crowded stores, it’s possible to tick off your list without losing your mind.

With quick tips, creative ideas, and a touch of holiday spirit, you can still find thoughtful presents that’ll make everyone smile. The Family Education publication states that last-minute shopping can lead to overspending, so make a list of your budget before visiting stores.

It is advised that you avoid retailers’ tricks like holiday music and scents, which can encourage impulse buying. Limit mall time and shop online for gifts, as most online retailers offer delivery up to a few days before Christmas, the publication continues.

Christmas Eve is a great time to shop for gifts, as shops often start discounting, claims Tinggly. However, it is mentioned that you strike a balance between finding the best bargains. Many shopping centres are said to offer free wrapping services during this time.

According to Lou Lou Girls, to save money while Christmas shopping, make use of gift cards, be aware of scams and research deals on multiple websites.

“Make sure you are actually getting a deal. Look on several websites to make sure you are getting an actual deal. Some websites will offer crazy good deals that are too good to be true, and they are. Make sure you aren’t getting your money stolen.”
