South Africans are hopeful that Springbok captain Siya and his wife Rachel Kolisi can reconcile and become the couple many have come to love.

This follows a social media post where the pair were seen together for the first time since they announced that they would be heading for a divorce.

The proud parents of Nicholas and Keziah have both been spending time in Europe, with Siya scheduled to participate in the Springbok’s match against England. In contrast, his wife Rachel spent a few days in France before heading to London as well.

The Kolisi Foundation alongside the Mavros family recently hosted an intimate evening supper where they invited some close friends and partners of the foundation to reflect on the past year, celebrate the impact of their work and share their visions going forward.

In the post shared on Instagram, the couple can be seen posing for a picture with the rest of their partners looking as happy as the day they met.

This has since sparked hope in the hearts of internet users who all took to the comment section to highlight how they believe the Kolisi’s can still work things out when it comes to their marriage.

“I think there’s still hope here… I’ll pray for it,” wrote one user.

Another shared these sentiments commenting: “My heart. I really hope for this beautiful couple. SA let’s keep praying for them the devil won’t win.”

Another user meanwhile praised the couple for their maturity and how they were able to put their differences aside for the sake of a working relationship.

Following the announcement of their divorce last month the two have vowed that while their relationship as a couple has changed, they continue to remain great friends who are committed partners to raising their children together. They also highlighted that the Kolisi Foundation meant a lot to both of them and therefore, they will keep on working together there as well.
