South African rapper J Molley celebrated his 26th birthday with a heartfelt message, reflecting on his struggles and expressing deep gratitude for his journey.

J Molley, whose real name is Jesse Molley, took to social media to share his emotional post.

He wrote: “As I go into my 26th birthday tomorrow, I am reminded of the Grace of God. Over 20 suicide attempts, 8 being this year alone, & I am still here. It’s nothing short of an absolute miracle I am still here.

“I was the last person who could’ve been convinced Christ & here I am. Now that my barn has burnt down, I see the moon. All praise to the most high, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Not my will, but his will be done.”

The rapper has been open about his battles with mental health and addiction. Fans were alarmed earlier this year when J Molley went live on Instagram, where he was seen downing a bottle of pills with a fizzy drink.

Following this, he shared a series of troubling posts on X (formerly Twitter), revealing the depths of his struggles.

In an interview with Drum magazine, he revealed he had been hooked on drugs since the age of 14.

He also faced a public feud with award-winning rapper Emtee, real name Ndevu, though the two had originally planned to collaborate before things soured.

Recently, J Molley has turned to spirituality, sharing with fans that he has been on a path of faith and spiritual awakening.

He revealed he had been battling what he described as “satanic demons” that he had not previously been aware of, underscoring his journey toward healing and self-discovery.
