Multi-award-winning rapper turned devout Christian, Cassper Nyovest has officially made his long-awaited musical comeback – but with his newfound faith, he has vowed that the content will be a whole lot different to what he has released before.
Recently, the Doc Shabaleza rapper took to his Instagram page to announce the news about the release of his brand new single titled, Kutsa.
In the post, he revealed that the song marked his official return to music.
“I just dropped something. Basically, I’m back.”
He continued, “The content has changed a bit. We’re not swearing too much. I’m basically dropping music again, trying to figure it out and find my feet.”

Cassper committed his life to Christ in December last year, and since doing so has been candid about his past struggles with sex addiction and women, encouraging several others who attended his concerts to turn to God.
Furthermore, this year also saw the rapper do a complete 360-degree turnaround in his romantic relationships after he tied the knot with childhood friend Pulane Mojaki in a traditional wedding ceremony in April this year.
Earlier this year he also appeared in an interview on L-Tido’s podcast where he highlighted his desire to start making positive music.
“I’ll definitely perform the music, that’s where I’m from, that’s who I used to be, so I’m not better than anybody but I’m trying to make positive music going forth,” he explained.
At the time he highlighted that he was making gospel music and wanted to find a way to have his stamp on it.
