With beauty brands transitioning to a more eco-friendly approach, consumers are increasingly conscious of making environmentally friendly choices in their beauty routines. So if you haven’t made that transition yet it’s time you do.

According to Elysian, eco-chic beauty products make consumers aware of the environmental issues happening in the world where brands are making products without using biodegradable products.

The beauty hub states, “Consumers are becoming more conscious of the ingredients in their products and the packaging they come in, seeking out brands that prioritise sustainability and transparency.”

The above-mentioned source adds that the increase in demand for these beauty products has risen and brands are now looking to produce more vegan formulas instead of using ingredients that are harmful to the environment. Clean beauty, which emphasises non-toxic and ethically sourced materials, is also gaining popularity.

Consumers look for brands that are committed to environmental and social responsibility. Major beauty retailers are curating sustainable items, and internet platforms make it easier for customers to find and buy eco-friendly beauty products.

Zensa Skin Care provides sustainable makeup trends in 2024:

  • Choose eco-friendly brands: Buy from brands that prioritise recyclable or biodegradable packaging.
  • Less is more: Shop for beauty items that have multiple purposes to reduce waste.
  • DIY beauty trends: To lessen reliance on packaged items, create DIY beauty recipes using natural components.
  • Look for minimalist packaging: To reduce waste, use products that are refillable or eco-friendly.
  • Dispose responsibly: Recycle and confirm that your local recycling centre accepts beauty product containers.
  • Back zero-waste efforts: Encourage brands and projects that promote zero-waste beauty.
