It seems the sports fanatic Mama Joy Chauke is always involved in conversations on social media.

She was recently dragged for sharing a picture with South African reality TV star and businesswoman Mamkhize (born Shauwn Mkhize) and calling her ‘Ma’.

The picture seems to have been taken during a game between Royal AM F.C. and Mamelodi Sundowns.

The team owned by Mamkhize is named after her son, Andile Mpisane and Mama Joy has made it clear that she is the team’s super fan.

Sharing the picture on X (formerly known as Twitter) Mama Joy wrote in her caption, “We will bounce back Ma.”

X users took to the comment section, one user said, “Respect yourself…she’s way younger than you for you to be calling her ma, don’t allow poverty to take away your dignity .”

While some users dragged her, some tried defending her explaining, “My mom and others would call each other that at times it’s a sign of unity in women but Anker we being raised as master of pronounce.”
