Saving your smartphone’s battery life is not an easy thing to do, especially if your phone is your office.
Phones have become an accessible way to access work-related things and to do your daily tasks, and sadly, your battery life may end up getting depleted over time as you are always on your phone, even if it’s on charge.
According to tech hub Kaspersky, your smartphone’s battery life may be measured in two ways: longevity and life. Battery longevity refers to the battery’s expected life before replacement, whereas life represents the battery’s day-to-day function. Healthy battery consumption patterns can help extend battery life.
A phone’s longevity is based on proper charging practices, as modern batteries work best between 20 and 90% of the time, so unplug your phone before it reaches 100% and charge before it gets below 20%. Avoid extreme use while charging and overheating, and use fast charging only when necessary.
The above-mentioned hub suggests using smart plugs with a charging control as they can help reduce battery stress. Also, do not wait until your phone is low to charge but charge it in small amounts to reduce stress and maintain ideal charge ranges.
