As South Africans, we are often encouraged that we should be the change we wish to see, and this has certainly been something that Hip-Hop artist Emtee has applied to his life.

The Ghetto Hero rapper recently offered local entertainers a list of specialised skills that will help them flourish in their careers.

In a recent tweet, the 31-year-old alleged that there are several artists in the music industry who are struggling to make good music that resonates with the fans.

To this, he later added that he finds himself fortunate to be in a position where he can offer a solution to the problem – ghostwriting.

“Fellow musicians in the land, let me ghostwrite for you. Some of your sh*t sounds bad. Put your pride aside, let’s make music guaranteed to shake the sun up.”

Of course, this would not be entirely out of the goodness of his heart, as he later posted a follow-up tweet revealing just how much these services would cost – a whopping R10,000 per song.

The Long Way hitmaker created a generous quotation divided into two categories, the first being assistance with the writing process which costs R10,000, and those looking to feature him on their hook should get ready to fork out a R45,000.

“All fair business. A big hustle hook is not cheap,” says the musician.

He later also clarified the challenges experienced when dealing with fans who requested him to rap in public spaces, emphasising that he is not a rapper.

“I’m a songwriter. Certified hitmaker,” he posted on X.

I’m not a rapper. I’m a hip hop artist. Stop asking me to “spit some bars” when you see me. TF!? I’m a songwriter. Certified hit maker.
