Whoever said the perfect soft makeup glam doesn’t exist needs to show themselves and see what other individuals are achieving. While summer can be quite hot and unbearable, we are here to tell you that this soft glam is the perfect solution to not just your summer days but also your back-to-work glam that isn’t quite too loud and heavy on the eye.

Giving us all the tips on how to obtain this effortlessly soft glam look is Zova Davani, a professional makeup artist and digital content creator who provides videos on how to achieve beginner-friendly detailed makeup looks. A few of the most exciting and relatable aspects of her content are that she uses quality products that she displays while achieving the look.

Zova also has the most soothing voiceovers as she addresses her audiences in her home language, isiXhosa referring to her supporters and subscribers as “nobuhle,” which translates to beauty goddess.

Here are the tips provided by Zova for all makeup beginners:

  1.  Start with the eyes before applying foundation to the skin.
  2. Get comfortable with using two eyeshadow colours until you master the concept of blending.
  3. Before applying false lashes, use gel eyeliner as it is much easier to control.
  4. Starting with the eye areas allows you to clean off excess makeup which can be done with micellar water.
  5. Use small amounts of liquid blush and don’t smile when applying it.
  6. Use a complexion powder to blend the entire face.
  7. Eyeshadow on the lower lid to get a stunning glam look.
  8. Use a highlighter to bring back the glow after all the powders.

To attempt the soft glam look, be sure to tune into the below video as guided by Zova, and find out exactly which products to use and which methods to follow.
