Although other children seem to have settled and adapted quite well at their new schools. A handful, however, still find it quite hard to adapt to the new environment and people that they have been introduced to.
Starting the school year, one would assume that Grade R learners would be ecstatic at the thought of meeting new people and learning with their peers. However, some would rather prefer to enjoy their normal holiday routine of being home with their parents as they have been doing during the long summer holidays that recently just ended.
While these emotional drop-offs are a lot to handle for kids and educators, they can also be quite uncomfortable for parents to handle. Parents often have no choice but to allow this uncomfortable growth for their kids to become familiar with the routine.
One of the learners in the video realised that no one would come to his rescue and therefore thought of an escape plan that would get him out.
The little boy is seen showing off some Spiderman skills, as he quickly climbs the classroom gate with the plan of escaping his classroom and going back home to where he’d rather be. The educators notice this, and while finding it quite humorous and entertaining, they put the boy down with the fear of his safety.
With the hopes of giving, it yet another attempt with agility this time around, the young mastermind tries pushing through the present adults and unfortunately fails and begins to cry all over again.
The Instagram video displays the little personalities that educators deal with daily, as the room is filled with many unhappy little faces with teary faces. As the little ones adapt, they will slowly get to explore how fun and exciting school can become.
