WATCH: Lasizwe experiences taxi driving for the first time

While taxi driving is often considered an extreme sport in South Africa, Lasizwe has shown us that anything is possible if you set your mind to it. Especially if you do it looking good.

If you think Lasizwe did this solely by himself, then think again. The mastermind behind this plan is Lasizwe’s elder brother, Lungile. As an elder brother and taxi boss, he took it upon himself to teach his younger brother and fellow boss a few tricks on how to maneuver the notorious 15-seater.

Having come across the video of Lasizwe driving a taxi came as a surprise as he’d once shared on YouTube that taxis and the taxi business life are a no-go zone for him.

In the video Lasziwe can be seen all giggly and excited over his first time on being taught how to drive a taxi. While many may think that driving a taxi requires the same skill and patience  of driving any other car, Lasizwe has rather shown us otherwise.

The video begins with these two mischievous brothers starting off a high note with peace and no bickering. The trouble begins when the placement of gear 3 confuses Lasizwe and he begins to ask “u-three ukuphi Lungile?”

Lungile then continues being a rather good and patient instructor, advising his brother on what to and what to watch out on. With Lasizwe being hesitant on finding out where gear three is positioned, Lungile responds and says “u-three is sga ga ga.”

What seemed as his first time experiencing both a taxi and a manual car was not too bad until clutch balancing failed him. He then begins to exclaim “Lungile iya reverse-a” with uLungile responding “faka u-one.” Lungile then goes ahead and teaches him the skill of clutch balancing.

Given another attempt Lasizwe gets it wrong and Lungile gets into the drivers seat to shows him how it’s done.
