Phupho K Gumede has had quite an amazing and eventful year. The reality TV star went from styling many of the most influential fashion icons to styling our prominent figures for some of the most prestigious award ceremonies and reality TV shows. This young award-winning celebrity stylist is someone who has cemented his name and brand within the entertainment and fashion industry.
Phupho’s ability to style anyone and create looks that become a talking point on various social media platforms has resulted in him rubbing shoulders with the most affluent individuals of the African continent.
Some of his work can noted on the Netflix reality show Young, Famous and African. On the reality show Phupho was responsible for styling cast members such as Khanyi Mbau, Zari The Boss Lady, Annie Idibia, 2Face and Diamond Platnumz.
According to Mail & Guardian – South African news publication – the proclaimed “full-time icon” obtained a position within the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 Class of 2022. With one of his proudest achievements said to be attaining the world record of having styled 21 magazine covers before the age of 21
Making even greater strides this year, Phupho has once again upheld the standard of showing us the notable works of being the titleholder of Stylist of the Year consecutively by some of the looks he has pulled off this year.
