Talk about a way to promote your album! Although she is not the first artist to do so, Makhadzi took to social media to show off a pregnant-looking belly and announced to the world that she will be delivering two songs on 16 June.

Standing in what appears to be a shack, the former Open Mic Productions artist is seen all glammed up with one hand on her belly.

She captioned her Instagram post, “? ? my album is pregnant with 15 songs ?. I’m about to deliver twins ?‍♀️ on the 16th of June. Baby no1 (DEAR EX ) zwininakele??. Baby no2 (niazwifha official audio) all roads leads to auto renewal album ?.”

The name of Makhadzi’s upcoming album was inspired by her contract issues with her former music label.

Many took to the singer’s comments section to express that they thought the baby bump was real.

One commenter said, “Ijoooo? please don’t do this to us again. I seriously thought you are pregnant ?.”

Musician Mawhoo simply wrote, “This looks real.”

Others also commented on their excitement for the songs.

“This album is meant for me ? especially twin number 2,” said one fan.

Another told Makhadzi, “Twin number one for me ????date your type this time mama, men will leave you in the desert without water??, let’s go.”

Regarding the name of one of her new songs (baby number one), Dear Ex, Makhadzi had previously shared a snippet of the song with her fans, looking very emotional.

She captioned that post, “Dear Ex, Dear New Love ???. We’re starting a new chapter now… All the best.”
