Music producer and DJ Felo Le Tee opened up about his joint EP with Mellow and Sleazy.

The EP which is titled The III Wise Men was released on 14 April 2023. This EP collaboration is a unique sound of Amapiano music, which has taken over the South African music scene by storm.

The EP features tracks that showcase the different styles of the three producers. The lead single is Bopha, which features the vocals of Mas Musiq.

While speaking to IOL,  Felo Le Tee revealed what it was like working with the other two musicians.

“I’m amped up about the project and keen to see how it will do. It was dope working with Mellow and Sleazy, talented okes. We created some dope jams and some dope music,” he told the publication.

“I think the whole idea of dropping a joint project, it’s something that I always wanted to do ever since we did ‘Bopha’ because I feel like we are the young leaders for the sound, which is the young bacardi sgubhu sound. So I always wanted us to create something that will push the sound further,” he added while speaking to the publication.

Felo Le Tee also spoke about the behind-the-scenes moments while working the Mellow and Sleazy.

“We started with ‘Midnight Prayer’, that’s the first track that we did. Then we moved on to ‘Gedlela’. I think after that, when the song started moving on the internet, then that’s when I started to realise that we need to drop a joint EP,” said Felo Le Tee while speaking to the publication.
