The year 2022 was a big and successful one for some of our local celebrities, from bagging endorsement deals to finally starting their personal brands. Its always a beautiful thing to see when people venture into business and produce something they are passionate about. Not only is this motivation for others to do the same but its great when those that have had success take part in job creation. We have a decent number of celebrities who have ventured into the alcohol business, this list won’t include those.

Zola Nombona

Zola founded an undergarments brand called, LxveLove. On the website it says, ” We are a brand that prides itself in working with bodies as they are, just BODIES. LXVE takes the stance of loving our bodies and embracing the individuality of our customers, everyone should know and feel that our products are meant for them. We are a movement that celebrates bodies in all shapes and sizes while prioritising good quality, great functionality and comfort.”

Linda Mtoba

Linda started a jewellery brand called, Lula by Linda. On the website it says, ” Curated to be in harmony with each other, every piece from the first collection was chosen to compliment the next. Expect the perfect blend of gold, fresh water pearls and gems that will continue to shine for a long time to come. Each piece is gold plated so you can spoil yourself without the fear of your jewellery loosing its colour or shine. ”
