by Ashia Nkontsa

This year we have seen beautiful designs of traditional wear all around, most people embodied their culture and it showed in their full regalia. Some even went as far as getting the right imibhaco (material used for Xhosa cultural dresses and shirts.

It is always a joy for some to wear their traditional outfits on events, for example, Imigidi (initiation school celebration), traditional weddings, kitchen parties and other ceremonial events.

December has been buzzing with Imigidi, where some people show off the most and we going to take a look at some of the best outfits this year.
