Dance challenges that had everyone on their feet

Many call South Africa the dance capital of the world and with the rise of Tiktok and Amapiano we are certainly dancing our way to prove that title right. This year was filled with dance challenges, we couldn’t keep up. Whilst you were trying to figure out how to find the beat whilst not forgetting your moves, someone else was coming up with another challenge. We made round up of some of the challenges that too social media by storm.

Who can forget the topless guy moving his waist to one of the catchiest tunes in South Africa? Umlando quickly became one of the most popular songs in the country, it blew up and so did the challenge. At first, it seemed to only be for the guys but ladies joined in on the fun too. Soon, it was all over Tiktok and even our grandparents were took part.

Beyonce released her 2022 album and the beyhive ate it up. The Cuff It song became a challenge and group of friends gathered to show off the dance moves. Although it appears to be easy, the leg hand co-ordination will catch up to you if you’re not careful.
