Pabi Cooper claps back at “death hoax”

by Johana Mukandila

Amapianpo star Pabi Cooper has taken to her social media account to shut down the fake news spreading about her “death” online.

The news came after one Facebook user who goes by the name of Stash T Woods, created panic online after he posted “RIP Pabi Cooper.”

Unfortunately celebrity death hoaxes can create panic and leave many people in a state of shock, and are therefore harmful to friends, family, and fans.  Many of her fans were in disbelief and shocked by the death hoax.

However, Pabi was quick to shut down the death hoax rumours which was circulating online as she took to her Instagram account to react to the fake rumours about her.

The hitmaker debunked the claims as she pleaded with people to stop the harmful rumours “I’m alive, people need to stop their nonsense on Facebook,” she wrote.

Pabi is among many of Mzansi’s celebs who have faced death rumours online.

Actress Thuthuka Mthembu was also a victim of a death hoax which took place a few months ago. There were rumours that she was involved in a fatal car accident.

However, the actress shut down those rumours, when she told the Daily Sun,

“I’m alive and kicking. I’m not ill and I was not involved in a car accident. The news didn’t only hurt me, but also my loved ones…What hurts me most was that news outlets even ran stories saying I was dead without confirming it,” the publication quoted Thuthuka.
