The rock that removes hair. Yes really!

Yes it’s true, I’ve found the niftiest little device ever. What led me here? I’m glad you asked…

I have had quite the journey finding the right hair removal process for my sensitive skin. Naturally, I grow hair like the clock passes seconds, so I find myself needing to shave every third or even second day.  If you’re anywhere near as clumsy and heavy-handed as I am (I like getting the job done) then tasks like shaving can leave you with a knick or two and irritation.

Imagine my surprise when I happened upon a rock that would save all my solving problems. I first caught wind of it on TikTok. Women were boasting about this magical rock that removes hair and I needed to know more:h

I was skeptical, as the opinion on the device was divided, though I was still intrigued as someone who doesn’t want to spend half of her life shaving. Fast forward a few months in, and I started seeing the very same BodyRock Pro pop up in SA, boasting remarkable results. Obviously, I had to get one

The BodyRock Pro is a small device with a smooth bottom surface. The smooth bottom surface is where all the magic happens. Don’t ask me how exactly, but once you start rubbing this nifty little device in circular motions on your skin, you’ll be baffled by how effectively this removes hair.

When I first tried it, I gently rubbed against my skin for a few seconds: nothing. Going in again, I decided to apply the slightest bit of pressure (not enough to hurt) and rubbed in circular motions. After about 20-30 seconds of rubbing the area, the hair disappeared! I got a whiff of a ‘burnt hair’ smell, likely caused by friction, but the process didn’t hurt and worked effectively for removing my leg hair!

Effectively exfoliating the top layer of epidermis, the BodyRock not only removes hair but also leaves you with silky, smooth skin. This method also delays hair regrowth. When the hair does regrow, don’t worry, the BodyRock has a 3 year lifespan, so all you need to do is go back in with your rock.

I have only experienced positives with this magical rock my fellow tired-shavers. If you keep it clean (rinse under cold water after each use) it will do its job. Sometimes, there are one or two very stubborn hairs that won’t budge that I swipe away with a razor, but that’s nothing major.

For a pain-free, easy method to hair removal that does away with razors, saves money and doesn’t make a mess, I’d recommend trying out the body rock. It may just be exactly what you’re looking for. To order one, visit the BodyRock Pro website.
