Going on a first date with a potential partner can be enjoyable. But what should you do if you’re no longer interested in your date? Would you request a refund?

A TikTok creator @ededdeddy7 on the app posted a screenshot on the app of a date asking for a refund because they were rejected on the first date. The typical expectation is that the person who initiated the date pays, but what should happen if the person paying loses interest? Should they be given a refund?

In the screenshot, the guy asks the lady for his money back given that he was rejected on the date, the lady then proceeds to ask for the man’s account number to refund him causing many TikTok users to applaud the lady for not hesitating when it came to giving the money back.

Taking to the comment section TikTok users said:

“When she shows you that she’s not a broke girl, 10 points to my ladies.”

Another user said: “My ex bought me a phone and when we had an argument he asked for his phone back and when he wanted to give it back to me two days later I had already gotten myself a new one.”

Another user shared that her date once took her to Debonairs Pizza and she decided to get something for R79. When she rejected him, he asked why she ordered food only to say no.

One user commented: “Is the pressure increasing or decreasing?”

One TikTok user added that the lady was standing on business by giving back the money.
