TikTok foodies try out the new Woolies ox tripe leaving many users feeling like it doesn’t taste nice because it is too clean.

One thing about Woolworths is they will bring you quick and easy ways to make your most loved South African cuisines to enjoy. Mogodu also known as tripe is the intestines of cow and sheep and is usually served with pap or dumpling.

According to the Woolworths hub, this cuisine takes up to 30 minutes to prepare on the stove and seven minutes if it is microwaved and serves up to four people. Many users felt that this was a convenient way of making mogodu while some felt that it didn’t taste good despite only having to add your spices.

This delicacy only ranges from R150 at any Woolworths store.

Many TikTok users took to the comment section to share their thoughts on how it tasted.

Another user said that Mogodu should not be too clean as the crunch makes it more delicious.
