When following fashion trends, it is important to dress for your body shape, as it builds confidence in your style.

To achieve a glossy image, different body types require personalised fashion and design that highlights the most significant characteristics while downplaying the unpleasant ones.

The Well-Dressed hub says, that knowing how to dress for your body type is a game changer when it comes to creating a wardrobe that you love. Understanding it not only makes dressing enjoyable and simple, but it also saves you time, money, and sanity.

Global Image Group provides 5 style tips for different body shapes:

  1. Determine body type: The hub advises that measuring your shoulders, bust, waist circumference, and hip size to understand your unique shape.
  2. Select complimentary silhouettes: Dresses and shirts with cinching waists are best for apple-shaped figures. Pear-shaped bodies should wear sleeveless tops and open-neck gowns.
  3. Use proportions: To create visually attractive costumes, apply balanced principles and mix and match pieces. High-waisted pants or skirts draw attention to extended legs, while blouses with deep plunging necklines balance shorter torsos for visual harmony.
  4. Accessorise: Using accessories such as statement belts or necklaces may add flair and sophistication to an outfit, increasing shape and form and raising it from ordinary to outstanding, attracting attention and preference.
  5. Discover the ideal fit: Try on items and consider their contour to provide the best fit possible. When shopping remotely, choose brands that offer free virtual consultations to ensure appropriate size, adds the above-mentioned hub.
