Former Miss Universe winner Zozibini Tunzi will be heading to Zimbabwe to host the highly anticipated Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2026 grand finale, marking another major milestone in her growing career as an international host and media personality.

The prestigious pageant finale is scheduled to take place on June 6 at the Harare Hippodrome, with excitement already building across Zimbabwe and the rest of the continent. Organisers confirmed that Zozibini will co-host the glamorous event alongside a Zimbabwean male personality whose identity is yet to be revealed.
Taking to social media, Zozibini shared her excitement about visiting Zimbabwe for the first time and being part of the country’s biggest beauty pageant event. Since making history as the first black South African woman to win Miss Universe in 2019, Zozibini has become one of Africa’s most recognisable beauty queens and entertainment figures. Beyond pageantry, she has expanded her career into television hosting, acting and fashion collaborations, cementing herself as a powerful voice for African beauty and representation.
Miss Universe Zimbabwe organisers described Zozibini as “an African icon” whose presence is expected to elevate this year’s competition to continental significance. The winner of Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2026 will go on to represent the country at the global Miss Universe competition later this year.
