Remembering Luqobo Makwedini
Luqobo passed Grade 12 in 2025 at Wynberg Boys’ High School, where he was known among his peers and the school community. His passing has prompted an outpouring of grief, with family, friends, classmates and members of the wider community sharing messages of support and remembrance.
Although Luqobo attended Wynberg Boys’ High School, learners from St David’s Marist joined those mourning his loss by paying tribute through one of the school’s most recognisable traditions.
