‘Top Billing’ Presenter Search 2026 unveils Top 5

In the episode of Top Billing Presenter Search 2026 that aired on 8 October, the top 10 contestants were narrowed down to five. The episode revealed the remaining contenders still in the running to become Top Billing’s newest presenter.

Then there were 5

From 40 applicants hoping to receive this opportunity, only ten made it through. However, after last night’s episode, only five remain.

The official Instagram page congratulated the remaining contenders and shared video commentary from each finalist, sharing why they believe they are the best fit to be Top Billing‘s newest presenter.

Without further ado, meet the Top 5 finalists of the Top Billing Presenter Search of 2026.

Nehemiah Tjatji

Nehemiah is an actor and TV and radio host best known for hosting the reality TV competition series, Verified.

“If not my energy, then really my ability to come into a space and make you, as a viewer at home, feel like you are a part of it and have a personal experience,” he explains.

Ross Marshall

Ross is a South African actor, social media personality, youth mentor, and model. He is the founder of Fortified Coaches, a ministry that aims to inspire young people and guide them into becoming confident members of society.

“Because I love people, I love going on adventures, I love going on journeys, I love learning and asking questions,” he explained, noting how his curiosity serves as his strength.

Karen Mthethwa

Rising radio host Karen Mthethwa is also in the running for Top Billing‘s newest presenter. She is known for hosting YFM’s The Glow Up.

“I am a young girl from Soweto with a whole lot of energy and spunk and who is devoted to broadcasting in South Africa,” she said while highlighting aspects of her personality that make her a great fit as a Top Billing presenter.

Homba Mazaleni

Miss SA 2023 Top 5 finalist Homba Mazaleni is a sports scientist who loves to talk all things soccer, cricket, and F1. Known for her memorable Soccer World Cup coverage this year, her presenting skills are youthful and vibrant.

“First and foremost, I think I’m a little bit fun; I think I bring a little bit of exciting energy to all the things that I do,” she shared.

Talitha Bothma

Last but not least is keynote speaker and MC Talitha Bothma, known for giving speeches that help audiences understand who they are and what they stand for.

“I understand that being a presenter is about unravelling the person I get to have a discussion with. I have an ability to ignite that childlike heart within the people I speak to,” she noted.
