It seems former Siz the World host Sizwe Dhlomo’s exit from Kaya 959 stirred up past drama between him and former colleague Unathi Nkayi. After Unathi posted in a now-deleted Instagram comment that her ex-husband, Thomas Msengana, was announced as Sizwe’s interim replacement, she responded to a fan about the radio station allegedly spiting her family.

Sizwe noted that her comment was untrue.

On 28 May 20626, X user @sthembileg3 posted a screenshot of Unathi’s comment section, where Instagram user @ntsiki_yenayedwa shared their excitement for Thomas’ return to Kaya 959. The online user wrote, “I know they did this to spite you, kodwa sithi congratulations to tatabo wethu. We need that bread!”

Before Unathi removed her response, @sthembileg3 showed that the singer wrote the following:

“They [Kaya 959] took him off breakfast to spite us as a family and put Sizwe there. Now that they have new owners, they have asked him back in the interim. Look at God.”

Sizwe responded on X, writing, “Lies again. I didn’t even do the show after Thomas. Dineo did.”

Lies again. I didn’t even do the show after Thomas. Dineo did. 🤷🏽‍♂️ https://t.co/KJclD5lI7t

Social media user weighs in on ‘lies’

@indiphilesitha, who saw Unathi’s comment, asked the star:

“How? I’m asking because after him (Thomas) and Skhumba, Dineo and Sol were on breakfast. Sizwe was doing the Afternoon Drive then. It is only when Dineo got fired that Sizwe joined the Breakfast team. He started by standing in. During this time, Thomas and Skhumba were doing Drive. When Sizwe was given his show (Siz The World), Glen, Skhumba, and Kgomotso were given Drive. Thomas was then taken to Weekends. It wasn’t as sequential as ‘taking him off and putting Sizwe’ thereafter. Unless we, as the listeners, missed something.”
