Taking to her Instagram Story, Unathi shared a screenshot of her comment. The picture did not show which post she left her response on. However, the conversation seemed to be about romantic relationships with men who were years younger than their significant other.

Her comment read: “Oh, man. I’m dating younger, and he spoils me rotten and refuses to let me spend a cent, buys me the books he’d like me to read to get to know his world more, and he goes to therapy. So no more mom issues either.”

The songstress captioned the screenshot with a laugh: “Why do younger guys get such a hard rep?”

Who is Unathi Nkayi dating?

Unathi has kept her love life under wraps, only referring to the mystery man as a “wonderful nerd.” The man reportedly inspired her to return to academia.

The singer was previously in a relationship with Thomas Msengana, a radio personality also known as Bad Boy T, whom she married in 2009. The former couple, who share two children, ended their marriage in 2017 after eight years. Fortunately, they have maintained a positive co-parenting relationship, which may not be easy for some celebrities constantly in the limelight.

In the past, many speculated that Unathi was dating Charlotte hitmaker Prince Kaybee after a picture of her and the DJ’s sons further fuelled dating rumours. However, Prince Kaybee referred to her as his friend.
