South African born actress Charlize Theron has come forward to rubbish plastic surgery rumours.
During an interview with Allure on Friday, 18 August, the Bombshell actress slammed claims of her going under the knife, claiming that the changes in her appearance are simply due to ageing, USA Today reported.
We’re all aware of Charlize’s beauty. The actress had been crowned the sexiest woman in the world by Esquire, according to the South African. Apart from her looks, she has an impressive career that spans roughly over 3 decades. She’s starred in Atomic Blonde, Mad Max: Fury Road, and several other blockbuster movies. According to USA Today, she has been the face of Dior for more than 20 years.
Slamming the plastic surgery claims, she reportedly voiced that she has a problem with how different women age compared to men and believes that men are luckier in that regard, according to the South African.
The Mad Max actress is not afraid of ageing and embraces it. She has not gotten any plastic surgery done. In response to what people have been saying about her appearance. She said, “they’re like, ‘what did she do to her face?’ I’m like, ‘B***h, I’m just aging! It doesn’t mean I got bad plastic surgery. This is just what happens.”
“I despise that concept and I want to fight against it, but I also think women want to age in a way that feels right to them. I think we need to be a little bit more empathetic to how we all go through our journey. My journey of having to see my face on a billboard is quite funny now,” she was further quoted saying.
