Netizens suspect Shudu and Maps are dating

A social media user took out their magnifying glass while others put their detective hats on after seemingly spotting media personality Masego ‘Maps’ Maponyane’s shoe in the reflection of one of Miss South Africa 2020 Shudufhadzo ‘Shudu’ Musida’s pictures, sparking dating rumours.

According to The South African, a few weeks ago, Maps shared that he was in Italy. This being around the same time Shudu was visiting the country.

X (formerly Twitter) user @___aphiwe shared an Instagram picture of flowers in a gold vase from Shudu’s time in Italy. In the image, there is a reflection of a shoe which the user thought was similar to Maps’ shoe.

“I thought she’s with Maps. Check that sneaker reflected on that flower vase,” wrote @___aphiwe, also sharing a picture of Maps wearing what appears to be the same shoe.

The post received close to 2 million views and many responses of others trying to share other similarities.

Many also commented on the “great detective work” from @___aphiwe.

Shudu and Maps have not confirmed the dating rumours.
